Company Profile

Shandong Yin Ying Catering Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in 1974 and is a domestic catering equipment “high-tech enterprise” that integrates design and R&D, manufacturing, logistics, sales, and end-user services, and has successfully entered the international market.

Our products mainly include five major series—nearly a hundred specifications of “Yingying” brand cooking machinery, pickling machinery, vegetable-processing machinery, kitchen equipment, and various large castings—with an annual output of 10,000 tons for large castings.

We have successively established “Research and Practical Teaching Bases” in collaboration with institutions of higher learning including the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shandong University, Qilu University of Technology, and Shandong University of Architecture. Currently, we hold 242 national patents, including 13 invention patents, and have drafted or revised 28 national industry and group standards, 15 of which have already been promulgated and implemented.

We were among the first in the industry to obtain certifications covering quality, intellectual property, standardized safety production, environment, occupational health and safety management systems, energy management systems, integration of IT and industrialization management systems, CE certification, after-sales service for goods, CQC product certification, and safety for food-contact products. We have also been recognized by China Credit Investigation as an “AAA-rated Credit Enterprise.”

The “Yinying” brand series of dough mixers, steamed bun makers, vegetable slicers, dough kneaders, noodle machines, potato peelers, and vegetable choppers are designated as “Shandong Famous Brand Products.”

The registered trademark “Yin Ying” has been recognized as a “Well-Known Trademark in China” and a “Famous Trademark in Shandong Province.” The company has been awarded the title of “Contract-Honoring and Credit-Respecting Enterprise” by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

It holds the designations of “National Industrial Design Center,” “National Sub-center for Research and Development of Agricultural Product Processing Technology and Equipment,” “Shandong Province-Recognized Enterprise Technology Center,” and “Shandong Province Industrial Design Center.”

Since 2001, “Yinying” has been providing catering machinery equipment for military units and has become the “Catering Machinery Production Base” of the General Logistics Department of the People’s Liberation Army of China, supplying goods worth over 400 million yuan to date.

  Guided by the company vision of “Leading the industry, forging a century-old Yin Ying; empowering employees, building a better home,” Yin Ying is committed to the research and development of industry-leading commercial cooking equipment, with customer satisfaction as its enduring pursuit. Fully leveraging the advantages of being a “National Torch Zhangqiu Cooking Equipment Specialty Industrial Base” and a “leading enterprise” in Shandong’s hometown of cooking machinery, Yin Ying is vigorously developing specialized industrial clusters and has established the “Cooking Equipment Industry Public Technical Service Platform,” the “Shandong Province Food Processing Machinery Product Quality Inspection Center Laboratory,” and the “Jinan City Zhangqiu District Brand Development Guidance Station.”

Currently, we have more than 10 offices nationwide, located in cities including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Guangzhou, as well as over 300 sales outlets. Our products are best-selling in more than 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China and are also exported to countries and regions such as the United States, Russia, South Korea, Australia, Finland, and Denmark.

“Yin Ying” will firmly establish and earnestly implement the development philosophy of innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and shared benefits. We will strive to grasp the direction of industrial development and, centered around the themes of “safety, intelligence, modularity, standardization, versatility, and environmental friendliness,” vigorously promote the thriving development of new technologies, new products, new business forms, and new models within our field, and carefully build an “intelligent catering machinery industry cluster.”

II. Social Responsibility Practices

(1) Quality and Safety

“Yin Ying” regards quality as the lifeblood of the enterprise. In 1998, the company was among the first in its industry to obtain ISO9001 certification for its quality management system. Upholding the quality philosophy of “being market-oriented, pursuing innovation, and striving for customer satisfaction as our eternal goal,” “Yin Ying” has deeply implemented a development strategy centered on building its brand through quality and achieving greater efficiency through quality. The company is committed to forging a brand-new Yin Ying innovation system and a comprehensive quality assurance system. The “Yin Ying” product series has earned both credibility and market share thanks to its “superior quality, excellent service, and integrity and trustworthiness.” Within the industry, it is widely known as “Northern Yin Ying,” and its overall business performance ranks among the top in the nation’s comparable industries.

(1) To ensure product quality and respond to the government’s call to strive for renowned brands and apply for the Mayor’s Quality Award, since 2005, seven major product categories—including “Yingying” dough mixers, steamed bun machines, and vegetable-cutting machines—have successively been awarded the title of “Shandong Famous Brand.” In 2012 and 2013, the company received the Organizational Award of the First Zhangqiu Mayor’s Quality Award and the Individual Award of the Second Zhangqiu Mayor’s Quality Award, respectively. In 2014, the company’s general manager, Li Zhongmin, was awarded the Individual Prize of the Jinan Mayor’s Quality Award. In 2018, Mr. Li Zhongmin himself received the “Zhangqiu Quality Award—Individual Category.” Since 2012, the company has won numerous QC achievement awards, and several of its “QC Problem-Solving Teams” have been recognized as “Outstanding Quality Management Teams in China’s Light Industry.”

(2) To tap into overseas markets, we strictly control the safety performance of our products. In 2017, our food-processing machinery—including dough mixers and steamed bun machines for flour-based foods, vegetable-processing machinery such as vegetable-cutting and filling machines, and meat-processing machinery featuring meat-cutting and grinding machines—obtained the EU CE certification.

(3) Actively adopt relevant national standards and carry out product certification. The food-contact parts of Yin Ying products comply with the requirements of the following standards: GB 4806.7-2016 “National Food Safety Standard—Plastic Materials and Products for Food Contact,” GB 4806.9-2016 “National Food Safety Standard—Metal Materials and Products for Food Contact,” and GB 4806.10-2016 “National Food Safety Standard—Coatings and Coating Materials for Food Contact,” among others.

The safety of Yin Ying products complies with the requirements of national standards such as GB 4706.1-2005 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances—Part 1: General Requirements" and GB 4706.38-2008 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances—Specific Requirements for Commercial Electric Food Processing Machinery." In 2019, 11 product categories from the company obtained CQC certification for food-contact products, and 8 product categories received CQC product certification.

(4) Strictly adhere to national, industry, and enterprise standards, and organize production in accordance with these standards. Our flagship products—including dough mixers, steamed bun machines, and vegetable-cutting machines—have all passed every inspection conducted at the national, provincial, and municipal levels, thereby ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

(2) Production Safety

The company consistently adheres to the safety management principle of “governing the enterprise according to law, putting safety first, and prioritizing prevention.” We have established a Safety Production Committee, formulated a safety production responsibility system, clearly defined the duties of responsible persons at all levels, and signed responsibility agreements at each level to ensure thorough implementation. Specifically, we have achieved the following: a. Reduced the incidence of accidents—safety production accidents have declined year by year, and we have completely eliminated serious and particularly severe accidents resulting in fatalities or fires. b. Achieved a 100% rate of safety education for newly hired employees. c. Attained a 100% certification rate for operators in specialized trades. d. Continuously improved working conditions on-site year after year. e. Eliminated occupational diseases entirely. These measures have effectively enhanced the company’s overall safety standards and ensured the physical and mental well-being of our employees.

The company has developed and refined emergency response plans covering various scenarios, including quality assurance, hazardous waste management, fire prevention, and electric shock protection, and has established an emergency response team. The company implements well-defined emergency procedures and a clear emergency system, providing annual training to relevant personnel. Each year, it conducts emergency response drills targeting different groups of employees and systematically evaluates the effectiveness of these drills. Any issues identified during the drills are promptly addressed and rectified, thereby enhancing the organization’s overall emergency preparedness capabilities and improving employees’ ability to handle various emergency situations.

The company has obtained the “Second-Level Certification for Standardized Safe Production,” as well as certifications for its environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems. It has been recognized by Jinan City as an “Outstanding Unit in the ‘Ankang Cup’ Competition” and by Zhangqiu City as a “Model Unit for Safe Production.” The company actively implements the “Dual Prevention System for Safe Production,” further enhancing employees’ awareness of safety and environmental protection.

(3) Environmental Protection

For many years, the company has conscientiously complied with all environmental protection laws and regulations, cooperated closely with environmental protection authorities at various levels, and invested over 1 million yuan in new environmental protection equipment to reduce pollutant emissions. Each year, the company conducts rigorous testing of its pollutant emissions, ensuring that all emissions meet the required standards. The company has never violated any environmental protection laws or regulations, has successfully passed environmental impact assessments, and has obtained certifications for both environmental management and occupational health and safety management systems. To further strengthen environmental and safety management, the company has established a leading group and a management committee for environmental and safe production. These bodies strictly adhere to applicable laws and regulations as well as directives from higher authorities, ensuring that responsibilities for environmental and safety management are effectively implemented. The company has been recognized as one of the “first batch of green factories in Jinan City,” smoothly passed the certification for an “energy management system,” and has been consistently honored as an “advanced unit in safe production.” In 2020, the company invested over 12 million yuan in environmental protection and technological upgrading projects aimed at energy conservation, waste reduction, pollution mitigation, and improvement of both employees’ working conditions and the surrounding environment.

By leveraging modern information technology, the company is implementing paperless office operations and promoting the construction of a resource-efficient society. It actively adopts advanced IT tools such as ERP management systems and internal networks, continuously improving its office systems to achieve paperless office practices and proactively advancing the development of a resource-efficient society.

(4) Reduce energy consumption and promote the comprehensive utilization of resources.

We have upgraded high-energy-consumption transformers by installing new, energy-efficient 315 kVA transformers. We’ve also acquired energy-saving, high-frequency induction heating equipment that reduces power consumption by 50% compared to our old equipment. Additionally, we’ve replaced nine high-energy-consuming motors with energy-efficient ones and purchased advanced equipment such as laser cutting machines, CNC machining centers, CNC bending machines, and CNC boring mills—enabling multi-functionality in a single machine, thereby reducing energy consumption. Furthermore, we’ve retired 35 pieces of outdated equipment. At the same time, we’ve extensively adopted non-cutting manufacturing processes, significantly reducing material waste.

We extensively carry out activities such as “Talk and Compare,” “Five Small Achievements,” and the “Silver Eagle Cup” labor skills competitions. Each year, we complete nearly a hundred major and minor technical improvement and innovation projects, generating economic benefits of nearly one million yuan annually by reducing energy consumption and costs for the company.

(5) Rights Protection

(1) Shareholder Equity Protection

We safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company’s numerous shareholders and distribute dividends totaling over 3.8 million yuan to village residents and employee shareholders at the end of each year.

(2) Employee Rights Protection

We sign labor contracts in accordance with the law and engage in collective wage negotiations. We make timely contributions to the “five social insurances and one housing fund” for employees in compliance with the law, thereby alleviating their worries. We guide and encourage employees to pursue career paths oriented toward technical and knowledge-based roles, providing a solid talent pool that supports the company’s technological innovation and development. Provide employees with diversified, comprehensive, high-quality, and targeted learning support to meet their job requirements and career development needs.

(3) Protection of Suppliers' and Distributors' Rights and Interests

The company strictly adheres to the terms of the procurement contract and makes timely payments to suppliers, thereby safeguarding their interests.

(4) Consumer Rights Protection

The company’s after-sales personnel strictly adhere to the requirements of the after-sales service evaluation system and implement all relevant rules and regulations for after-sales service.

Customers can submit after-sales service requests through various channels, including online platforms, industry trade shows, telephone calls, and our self-built after-sales service platform. Upon receiving customer service inquiries, we provide either one-on-one assistance or free on-site service to meet their needs and gain a better understanding of their requirements for both products and services during the process. We also commit to responding to or resolving any issues raised by customers within 24 hours within the province and within 48 hours outside the province, and we offer lifetime service support for our products.

(6) Social Public Welfare Undertakings

The company’s senior management attaches great importance to public welfare activities. Over the years, “Yinying” has fully leveraged its responsibilities and advantages as the “National Torch Jiaozhou City Specialized Industrial Base for Catering Equipment,” the “Hometown of Catering Machinery in Shandong Province,” a “leading enterprise,” and a “flagship enterprise.” In alignment with the company’s development strategy, it has actively fulfilled its corporate citizenship responsibilities by driving the development of the industry’s value chain, supporting public welfare initiatives, and donating to those in need.

(1) Focusing on the themes of “Private Enterprises Assisting Villages” and doing a good job in social welfare undertakings, we will fully leverage the responsibilities and advantages of industry “leading enterprises.” We will actively establish a specialized industrial cluster for cooking machinery that features distinctive characteristics, a well-developed system, and strong competitiveness. The cluster covers an area of 100 square kilometers, with an annual output of 900,000 sets, sales revenue of 830 million yuan, over 3,000 employees, and foreign exchange earnings from exports totaling 20 million U.S. dollars. The cluster is spearheaded by Shandong Yin Ying Cooking Machinery Co., Ltd., with key supporting enterprises including Jinan Yin Ying and Mei Ying. The cluster’s main products include cooking machinery, pickled vegetable machinery, kitchen equipment, vegetable processing machinery, and food processing machinery—totaling more than 130 enterprises (including supporting companies engaged in the processing of components such as frames, forgings, precision castings, hardware, and cutting tools).

(2) Invest in the establishment of a “Public Technical Service Platform for the Cooking Machinery Industry,” focusing on comprehensive technical services. Jointly build the “Shandong Province Food Processing Machinery Product Quality Inspection Center” to provide R&D and design, testing and inspection, technology promotion, regulatory standards, and personnel training services to SMEs within the base and throughout its upstream and downstream supply chains.

(3) Uphold our original aspiration and actively shoulder social responsibility.

Play a leading role and drive the development of the cooking equipment industry chain. Leveraging our responsibilities and advantages as the “National Torch Jiaozhou City Specialized Industrial Base for Cooking Equipment,” the “Hometown of Cooking Machinery in Shandong Province,” and a “leading enterprise,” we have spurred the growth and expansion of more than 80 surrounding enterprises. The cluster area now covers 100 square kilometers and has provided employment for over 3,000 surplus rural laborers. We have also established the “Public Technical Service Platform for the Cooking Machinery Industry” and the “Shandong Province Food Processing Machinery Product Quality Inspection Center,” which focus on comprehensive technical services. These platforms offer R&D design, testing and inspection, and personnel training services to upstream and downstream supporting industries, thereby standardizing and driving the industry’s development and elevating its overall level.

We are committed to poverty alleviation and helping those in need, and actively engage in public welfare activities. Through the Zhangqiu Charity Federation, we have made a targeted donation of a total of 20 pieces of equipment—including potato peelers, rice washers, and meat-cutting and grinding machines—to the People’s Government of Xinglongchang Town, Luxi County, with a total value exceeding 200,000 yuan. As a pillar enterprise in Diaoxi Village, we invest over 2 million yuan annually in “Beautiful Countryside” construction and educational public welfare initiatives.

In disaster relief and epidemic prevention, we demonstrate great love and responsibility. In 2019, Typhoon “Lekima” struck Zhangqiu unexpectedly. The company bravely shouldered its social responsibility, donating more than 100,000 yuan in cash and goods to the Zhangqiu Charity Federation and to affected villagers in nearby areas. In 2020, the company actively contributed to the fight against COVID-19 by donating disposable biomass graphene masks, totaling over 200,000 yuan in donations, thus embodying the caring spirit and sense of responsibility of the “Silver Eagle People.”

III. Summary and Outlook

As the national economy continues to improve, consumer demand will keep shifting, driving a revolutionary transformation across the entire food machinery industry. While this shift brings new opportunities for industry development, it also presents new challenges. We will seize the development opportunities brought by technological innovation, continuously expand our enterprise scale, and further enhance our corporate social responsibility initiatives.
