Sharing the Safe Operating Procedures for Flour Mixers
In our daily lives, chopping vegetables can be a tedious and time-consuming task—especially in large factory cafeterias. If there are fewer workers, there might not be enough food to go around. To address this challenge, we’ve developed some excellent machines, such as vegetable-cutting machines and dough-mixing machines. The former is used for slicing vegetables, while the latter is designed for mixing dough. The production of noodles would be impossible without noodle-making machines; yet when it comes to noodle machines, it’s worth mentioning that dough-mixing machines are their ideal complementary equipment. So how should these machines be operated safely? Let’s take a look:
In our daily lives, chopping vegetables can be a tedious and time-consuming task—especially in large-scale factory canteens. If there aren't enough workers, there might not be enough food to go around. That’s why we’ve developed some excellent machines for such situations—such as vegetable-cutting machines and dough-mixing machines. The former is used for slicing vegetables, while the latter is used for mixing ingredients. The production of noodles would be impossible without noodle-making machines; but when it comes to noodle machines, we simply can’t overlook the importance of dough-mixing machines—they’re the perfect complementary equipment. So how should these machines be operated safely? Let’s take a look:
Before starting the mixing machine, you must first check whether the power supply to the protective devices is in good condition and inspect the contacts of the plug. If there’s no looseness, no moisture, and the machine is stable and reliable, then proceed to check whether there are any hard objects or blockages inside the rotating drum and whether there are any foreign objects on the conveyor belt—this is to prevent damage to the equipment. Only by ensuring cleanliness can you guarantee its normal operation.
Before use, first pour the flour into the mixing cylinder, turn on the switch to start it rotating, and add the amount of water specified by the process requirements (when making noodles, the water-to-flour ratio is approximately 1:4). After the mixer has been running for a certain period and the mixed material has reached the standard specifications, remove the prepared mixture.
After starting the mixing machine, you must observe its operation for about 1 to 2 minutes before putting it into use once it has reached normal运转. Do not reach your hand into the rotating vertical blades or the tray beneath them, as the faster the blades rotate, the greater the risk of losing your entire hand. Always ensure personal safety. While the machine is running, feed in powdered materials evenly and in measured amounts to prevent blockages. If a blockage occurs, promptly disconnect the power supply, stop the machine, and then clean it thoroughly.
Be sure to pay close attention to cleaning and removing any residual debris from the mixing machine, and always disconnect the power supply before doing so. Do not rinse the equipment directly with water—instead, you can gently wipe its surface. If you rinse the equipment directly with water, it may become damp. Also, take precautions to prevent electrical leakage from the water inlet pipe. After daily use, be sure to clean the mechanical transmission and lubrication parts once a day.
Don't attempt to disassemble the guardrail or protective cover yourself. Once they’re damaged, professional technicians will handle the repairs. If a malfunction occurs, you should promptly shut down the machine and contact the relevant personnel for assistance.
When the dough-mixing machine is running, it is strictly forbidden to reach into the machine with your hands to remove flour. When starting the dough-removal process, you must first turn off the machine and wait until it has come to a complete stop before proceeding with the dough removal operation. The load should never exceed the 65-kilogram standard specified. Gear bearings must be regularly lubricated with an appropriate amount of gear oil or lubricant, and you should carefully monitor the oil seals for any signs of leakage. If you detect any problems, address them promptly. It is essential to properly connect the grounding wire to prevent electric leakage and avoid unnecessary losses.
During operation, the mixing machine should be started by first adding the flour and then adding water; only after covering the machine with its lid can it be turned on. If reverse rotation is required, the machine must be stopped first before engaging reverse rotation. It is strictly prohibited to engage reverse rotation without stopping the machine, to remove the machine’s limit switches without authorization, or to directly rinse the equipment with water during cleaning. These precautions are essential to prevent electric leakage from the power switch, which could lead to personal injury or death.
